RPi 5 8gb running Pi OS. Getting sound from a powered Bluetooth sound bar. Hope to improve audio quality via USB or second HDMI connection (HDMI 0 goes to the monitor). But USB connection -- yes, soundbar is configured for it -- renders no sound. Nor does HDMI 1 connection.
Raspi-config tells me HDMI 0 is the only audio out there is. I think something is wrong, because the literature I've read says I should be able to connect USB ports and voila get sound. I'd love to use the second HDMI, both for quality and to free up a USB port, but again no joy.
How do I get USB and/or HDMI 1 recognized as audio devices for the video going out on HDMI 0?
Btw, the USB -- connectors and cable -- are USB 3.
