I've installed labwc this morning for giving it a short 'test run'.Looks like I've found a first issue which is related to the screen composition. DUT atm is Pi5 with a 2560x1440pixels screen on HDMI-0 and a 480x320pixels screen on SPI0.
Taskbar is configured to be shown on HDMI-0 screen.
Without changing the screen arrangement the SPI0 screen comes up as the 'primary' screen, located at the left (= initially shows task bar). Taskbar was 'moved' to HDMI by using the 'Desktop preference' settings menu. With the screen layout re-arranged the start menu size is no longer restricted. Spanning a video over multiple screens seems working, Use a vlc window running a video in an endless loop for the first tests.
Code:
pi@pi5-14th:~ $ sudo apt install labwcReading package lists... DoneBuilding dependency tree... DoneReading state information... Donelabwc is already the newest version (0.7.1-2~bpo12+rpt1).The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required: libraspberrypi0 libssl1.1 linux-headers-6.1.0-rpi7-common-rpi linux-headers-6.1.0-rpi8-common-rpi linux-headers-6.1.0-rpi8-rpi-2712 linux-headers-6.1.0-rpi8-rpi-v8 linux-image-6.1.0-rpi8-rpi-2712 linux-image-6.1.0-rpi8-rpi-v8 linux-kbuild-6.1Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.pi@pi5-14th:~ $ uname -aLinux pi5-14th 6.6.28+rpt-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.6.28-1+rpt1 (2024-04-22) aarch64 GNU/Linuxpi@pi5-14th:~ $
